Ladies Bedstraw

Now this doesn't grow in my garden but you can find it at this time of year in old pastures.  Its bright yellow and appears in the long grass before haymaking.  If you pick a bunch you will understand why its called Ladies Bedstraw, imagine fornicating in a bed smelling like that.  I can't imagine anything nicer.  Still I don't recommend you try it on Coldhams Common, though it's flowering there right now,  you never know what you might just roll in.  The dog bought me a disgusting little rabbit that he sniffed out and I certainly would not like to smell like that.
